T-Mac's Return

The Houston Rockets are currently in 7th place in the Western Conference, with a 21-15 record. They have a team that can compete with anyone and they are doing it without their Chinese superstar, Yao Ming. Another name, that has mysteriously appeared on the Rockets lineup just a couple times this year, is NBA star Tracy McGrady. T-Mac, who returned to action in December, has only appeared in 6 games, averaging 7.7 minutes and 3.2 point per game. Coach Rick Adelman expressed the fact that T-Mac doesn't fit in with the Rockets up-tempo style of play. The Rockets, without their two stars have developed a very high paced style of play led by guards Aaron Brooks and Kyle Lowry.

After hoping for a more successful return, McGrady, is now looking to be traded. Some teams will start to show interest as the trading deadline approaches, but the problem is no one is sure if T-Mac can return to where he was before the knee problems.

The rockets, who have had their eye on Toronto's Chris Bosh, might be very interested in making that trade. Especially with Bosh becoming a free agent this summer. However, with Toronto winning eight of their last ten, and climbing up the Eastern standings, Toronto might not have any interest. The Knicks too have expressed a slight interest in T-Mac.
